My Envy 5030 printer is stuck on boot up screen. I've unplugged, restarted, updated firmware but the printer won't move past the first two progress dots. 

I'm thinking a reset is needed but don't know how to do it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that your printer is stuck on the boot screen, I am glad to assist you.

You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer to fix this issue.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.  

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.

Hi SandyTech20,

Unfortunately the steps you suggested didn't resolve the issue. The printer still gets stuck on the boot up screen. 

Is there another way we could resolve this?
