How do I use an aftermarket ink cartridge in my office jet 6954.

My office jet 6954 will not use a aftermarket ink cartridge that I need to use.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

The HP OfficeJet 6954 printer uses HP 902 cartridges which come in standard and high yield sizes.HP recommends that you use genuine HP ink or toner supplies. HP cannot guarantee the quality or reliability of non-HP or refilled cartridges, To get the answer to this question,  Yes you can use an aftermarket Ink cartridge but HP doesn't recommend however, you could change the configuration at your own discretion.
