@tal47, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I see that the printer is printing unwanted reports automatically. Is the printer connected to a secure wireless network?
For now, let us try these steps:
Reset the printer
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
Update the printer firmware
Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your computer.
Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.
Let us restore the settings to defaults.
Note: The settings on the printer will be deleted and has to be reconnected to the network.
Hold the wireless and the cancel button together for 3 seconds and release them.
To reconnect the printer to the network, refer to - Connecting an HP Printer Using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)
Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
