I want to remove the ink cartridges, but they are not moving to the center when I open up my printer. Usually when I open my printer the ink cartridges move to the center, but now they are stuck on the far right where there is a plastic cover preventing the cartridges from being removed.

Hi @cdw7 ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand the ink cartridges in your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 All-In-One Printer are not moving to the center when you open the printer, you can try the following steps to manually move them to the center:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source to avoid any electrical hazards.
- Open the printer cover or access door that allows you to access the ink cartridges. This is usually located on the front or top of the printer.
- Check if there's any obstruction preventing the cartridges from moving freely. If you see any debris or objects blocking their path, carefully remove them.
- Look for a release lever or button near the cartridges. This is often located on the side or underneath the cartridge compartment.
- Press and hold the release lever or button while gently sliding the cartridges towards the center of the printer. Be careful not to force them, as this could damage the printer.
- Once the cartridges are in the center position, you should be able to remove them by gently lifting them out of their slots.
If you're unable to manually move the cartridges to the center or if you encounter any resistance, it's possible that there may be a mechanical issue with the printer.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
