Product: Laserjet pro mfp m225dw
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After a reboot, my printer is stuck in the initializing screen. The first time this issue happened it took days to resolve on its  own. This time it has been days and it is still not working. I've tried rebooting it. I've tried leaving it off for an hour and then booting it. I've tried holding the "✖️ " and "✔️" while powering on the printer. None of these attempts were successful. I also tried doing a firmware update but my laptop doesn't recognize that the printer is connected via USB cable. Please help.
