Hi! I just bought a new OfficeJet Pro 9025. I set it up per the instructions and received the following error message, "one or more of the ink cartridges is damaged or missing." I took out all of the ink cartridges and put them back in and received the same error. I've also tried some other troubleshooting...I've taken out the entire print head and cartridges and have cleaned both, unplugged the printer from the wall, I clicked the back button 4 times to expose the setup menu but then I was stuck because I was not sure if doing a partial reset would even help in this situation. I was told that it was just a faulty printer and to take it back to the store. Well, in the midst of this pandemic, I want to make sure I've exhausted every avenue I can before I have to leave my house at all! So if anyone knows anything that will help me with setting up my new printer. I cannot even get to the driver or firmware download because I cannot get past this cartridge part. Thank you!

Hi @Cowgirlmelysa,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

If you have already performed the steps from the document  Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Hope this helps!
