Hi,
How can I get the RFU file for my printer MFP M479fdw ? I need it in order to try an upgrade with USB key. The printer seems to be bricked.

There are no RFU files for low-end HP printers.
YOu can download firmware .exe from hp.com and use 7zip software to extract .exe to get access to the actual firmware file .ful2.
Save the .ful2 file to a USB drive, insert the USB in the printer under the front panel, and the firmware icon will appear.

Thanks, now i have the ful2 file, I put it on USB key, but it don't load the firmware. I tried with 2 USB key, 2 different format (FAT32 and exFAT).
HP logo is displayed, then usb led ligh up once, then it go to normal boot. It's stuck after few sec during local firmware upgrade. Is there a way to prevent it ?
