How do you permanently disable the low toner warning on the HP Color Laserjet MFP 178nw

Hello John_McNeely,

Below mentioned steps should fix the issue.

 

  1. Press the Three dots ( ... ) on the printer control panel.
  2. Press right arrow once at a time until you see "System Setup" and then press OK button.
  3. Press right arrow once at a time until you see "Maintenance" and then press OK button.
  4. Press right arrow once at a time until you see "Toner Low Alert" and then press OK button. The status would be ON, now press right arrow key to display "OFF" and then press OK Button.
  5. Now press the return button ( below the OK button ) until you see "Ready" on the printer display.
