HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283cdw

I would like to be able to print documents in a "Draft Mode" to reduce toner consumption.   How do I do that on this Color LaserJet model?  I have looked at the printer settings but don't see any obvious solution.

Thank you.

Your printer is supported by the HP Universal Printer driver and that driver offers the option of EconoMode which uses less toner. You can set it as the default print quality (change printer preferences in the driver setup) or change on a job by job basis.

I appreciate the feedback and information.  I can't find an "EconoMode" option, though I can see a "EcoSMART" settings option under Printing Preferences:

What does EcoSMART do?  Should I be able to find an EconoMode setting?  If so, where?

Thank you.

What options do you see under paper/quality?

The options are few:

The "Print Quality" seems locked in at ImageREt 3600 with no ability to change it.  Though it is more toner density than print resolution I am trying to adjust (reduce).

These are the "Effects" options:

Try this. On your PC go to control panel>devices and printer and then right click on the icon for your printer. Click on the print preferences there and see if you now have econo mode.

Hello,

That option you showed seems exactly what I am looking for, but as you can see from the Paper/Quality dialog I included as a screen shot, I don't have that option.  Only ImageREt 3600.

In trying out different configuration dialogs I found this one that was new to me:

Should I select a different "Print procesor"?  If so, which one?

Thanks
