OfficeJet 3830 all in one

When unboxing and installing ink in brand new 3830, we accidentally pulled out a flat white cable that we thought was packing material. It’s approx 2/3” wide, white, blue writing on one side. Metal stripes on ends. Seems to be a power ribbon cable since that immediately turned power off.

Cable is totally intact but I don’t know where to reattach it to restore power. It was kind of hanging down with a giant loop on left side inside the area with print cartridges. If you can show me pics of where to reinsert that would be amazing.

Hey there! @Akimbo-1, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Community!

As it is a hardware issue with the printer. There is nothing much we can do in this situation.

And as the parts on an HP printer are not customer replaceable or customer accessible.

You need to contact HP support for hardware replacement or service options for the printer.

Take Care! 🙂
