Try these steps:

Perform a Hard Reset

  1. Turn Off the Printer:
    • Press the power button to turn off the printer.
  2. Unplug the Printer:
    • Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer and from the wall outlet.
  3. Wait for 60 Seconds:
    • Allow the printer to sit unplugged to clear any residual electrical charges.
  4. Plug In and Restart:
    • Reconnect the power cord to the printer and the wall outlet.
    • Press the power button to turn on the printer.

Verify Cartridges and Printhead

  1. Open Cartridge Access Door:
    • Ensure the printer is turned on, then open the cartridge access door.
  2. Inspect Cartridges:
    • Check if the cartridges are properly installed and seated correctly.
    • Remove and reinsert the cartridges.
  3. Clean the Cartridge Contacts:
    • Use a lint-free cloth to gently clean the copper-colored contacts on the cartridges.

Clear Any Paper Jams

  1. Check for Paper Jams:
    • Remove any paper jams from the input tray, output tray, and the cartridge access area.

Update Printer Firmware

Reset Printer Using Software

  1. Reset Printer Settings:
    • From the printer control panel, navigate to "Settings" > "Printer Maintenance" > "Restore Factory Defaults".
    • Confirm the reset and allow the printer to restart.
