Hi @Sdk11005,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
When all the lights on your HP DeskJet 2755e printer are flashing, it usually indicates a general error or a problem that needs addressing. Since you just replaced a cartridge, the issue might be related to the cartridge installation. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and resolve the problem.
Power Cycle the Printer:
- Turn off the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet.
- Wait for about 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back in and turn on the printer.
Check Cartridge Installation:
- Open the printer's cartridge access door.
- Ensure the cartridges are properly seated and securely clicked into place.
- Remove the cartridges and reinsert them to ensure a proper connection.
Clean the Contacts:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Open the cartridge access door.
- Remove the cartridges.
- Gently clean the electrical contacts on the cartridges and inside the printer using a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with distilled water.
- Allow the contacts to dry completely before reinserting the cartridges.

Update Printer Firmware:
- Make sure your printer’s firmware is up to date. You can check for updates on the HP website or through the HP Smart app.
Reset the Printer:
- Press and hold the power button for at least 15 seconds.
- Release the power button and wait for the printer to reset.
Check for Obstructions:
- Ensure there are no paper jams or obstructions inside the printer.
- Check the paper path and remove any debris.
Check Cartridge Compatibility:
- Ensure the replacement cartridge is the correct one for your printer model.
- Sometimes, non-HP cartridges or refilled cartridges can cause issues.
Reinstall Printer Software:
- Uninstall the printer software from your computer.
- Download the latest version of the printer software from the HP website.
- Reinstall the printer software.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
