Hi @Toos42,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP 7300 printer is duplex printing with the second-page upside down, there might be a few potential causes and solutions you can try.
- Driver Settings: Ensure that your printer driver settings are configured correctly. Sometimes, the driver settings might be set to flip the second page, causing it to print upside down. Check the printer settings in your computer's control panel or printing preferences and make sure duplex printing settings are properly configured.
- Printer Settings: Access the printer settings directly through the printer's control panel. Navigate through the menu to find the duplex printing settings. Ensure that it's set to the correct orientation for duplex printing.
- Firmware Update: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your HP 7300 printer. Sometimes, firmware updates address such printing issues. You can usually find firmware updates on the HP website or through the HP printer software installed on your computer.
- Paper Orientation: Ensure that the paper loaded in the printer tray is oriented correctly. If the paper is loaded upside down or facing the wrong direction, it can cause the second page to print upside down during duplex printing.
- Clean Printer Rollers: Dirty or worn-out printer rollers can sometimes cause paper misalignment during duplex printing, leading to upside-down prints. Clean the printer rollers according to the HP instructions or consider replacing them if they're worn out.
- Printer Calibration: Perform a printer calibration, if available in the printer's settings. Calibration can help ensure that the printer properly aligns the pages during duplex printing.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
