HP OfficeJet 7610
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just installed a new set of all four ink cartrdges in my HP 7610 printer.  It is not printing anything.  It is a fairly new printer, but did not print anything for several months.  I have had HP printers my whole life and this is the first time one would not print...ANYTHING!  How to fix?

A warm welcome to HP Support Community!

Any error when you try to print?

How is the printer connected, USB or wireless?

Could you print a print quality test report and let me know the result. In order to print the report:

1.) On the printer control panel, touch the Right arrow (), and then touch Reports.

2.) From the Reports menu, touch Print Quality Report. The test page prints.

I tried your suggestion, but the 7610 still prints a blank page.  Is there something special about how new printer cartridges are installed.  I was wondering if the printer does not recognize that new cartridges have been installed.  What do I do next?

Power resetting the printer and then performing an automated/manual cleaning may resolve the issue. Let's try these steps:

Please ensure the printer is up-to-date with its firmware. If you are unsure, you can download and install the latest firmware update from here.

1) Make sure this printer is plugged into a direct wall, not a surge protector

2) Remove all of your ink cartridges from the printer and close the door

3) Remove the power cord from the back of the printer (Do no press the power button)

4) Clean the ink cartridges, refer to solution 2 from this document.

5) Plug the power cord back into the printer

6) Wait for the printer to turn on completely, then install the ink cartridges.

7) From the Home screen on the printer control panel, touch the Right Arrow (), and then touch Setup ().

😎 Touch Tools, and then touch Clean Printhead. The printer prints a test page after it cleans the printhead.

Let me know how it goes!
