Hi @esat179,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The E0 error on an HP DeskJet 2710 indicates a paper jam or obstruction in the printer's paper path. Here are steps you can take to try to resolve this issue.
- Check for Jammed Paper: Open the printer's access door and check for any jammed paper or foreign objects inside the printer. Carefully remove any obstructions you find.
- Clear Paper Path: Make sure there are no small pieces of torn paper or debris obstructing the paper path. Use a flashlight if necessary to inspect thoroughly.
- Reset Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes. Then, plug it back in and turn it on again. Sometimes, a simple reset can clear temporary errors.
- Ensure Proper Paper Loading: Make sure you're using the correct type and size of paper for your print job. Improper loading of paper can sometimes trigger error messages.
- Update Printer Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer model on the HP support website. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve issues like this.
- Clean Paper Feed Rollers: Over time, paper feed rollers can accumulate dust and debris, leading to paper jams. Use a lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water to gently clean the rollers.
- Check for Hardware Issues: If the problem persists after trying the above steps, there may be a hardware issue with the printer, such as a faulty sensor or motor.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
