My printer stopped printing after I changed the cartridges. I can't copy or print from the computeer. It says its printing, but blank pages come out with no ink or any printed matter on the pages.

 

Please help! Thanks!

Thank you for joining the HP Support Forums! It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts, and other support personnel. 

 

Let’s first try to clean the print head of your printer. Try the steps below:

  • Make sure to load the input tray with plain, white paper.
  • On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, then touch “Setup” (Gear icon).
  • Touch “Tools”, then touch “Clean Cartridges”.
  • Examine the print quality on the “Print Quality Diagnostic report”.
  • If the colors are printed, click “No”. You can stop troubleshooting.
  • If the print quality is unacceptable, click “Yes” when prompted to perform the next level of cleaning.

I have a HP 4655 that is fairly new and it has stopped printing. Currently it will never t to print in black or color. It sounds like it is printing but paper is blank. I find followed the troubleshooting to clean the print heads several times and it did not do a thing. I checked the ink level of the cartridges using the front panel and there should be plenty of ink. I am getting really annoyed with HP printers. I just replaced a second bigger one when it stopped printing when I changed cartridges. The f I have heard o buy a new printer every six months I am going to look for a more reliable brand.
