I moved printer from one room to another and ever since after plugging it in. The HP smart printing app for Android won't recognize or find the printer on wifi network. It works fine if I print from my Ms surface tablet but it I can't print from my Android devices (phones and pixelbook)

I understand that the Hp envy 5530 hp smart app.cant finds the printer to print from the phone.
Please perform the hard reset and check.
-
Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
-
Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
-
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
-
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
-
Wait at least 60 seconds.
-
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
-
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
-
Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
-
Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed

Thank you for getting back to me! I appreciate the reply! i have tried all of the steps listed in your reply post praveen196
I have not gone through the step of resetting the router which i will do. by the way the router is very close to the printer so it shouldn't be a connectivity issue as i am using a wifi mesh system (eero) and all other devices connect properly and with good signal to that router.
It's odd i don't even see the HP ENVY 5530 as an option on the supported device list on the smart app. Although it has worked in the past so i know it's supported.
Also FYI the printer does work if i connect via wi-fi Direct. will update this post when i get home and can reset router following steps in your link for problem solving with Android devices.
