Try these steps:
1. Check Connectivity
- Wi-Fi Connection: Ensure your printer is connected to your Wi-Fi network. You can check and reconnect if necessary using the HP Smart app.
- USB Connection: If using a USB connection, ensure the cable is securely connected and the printer is recognized by your computer.
2. Restart Printer and Devices
- Power Cycle: Turn off your printer, modem/router, and your computer. Wait for about 30 seconds before turning them back on.
- Device Restart: Restart your computer after the printer is powered on.
3. Update Printer Drivers and Software
- HP Smart App: Ensure you have the latest version of the HP Smart app installed on your device.
- Driver Update: Visit HP Software and Drivers to download and install the latest driver for your HP ENVY 6055e.
4. Check Printer Status
- Ink Levels: Make sure your ink cartridges are not empty and are installed correctly.
- Paper Jam: Check for any paper jams and clear them if present.
- Printer Queue: Ensure there are no documents stuck in the print queue. Clear the queue if necessary.
