Hp officejet pro 6230 setup cartridge error

Dear community members i would be greatfull if you could help me on an issue with an Hp Officejet pro 6230. I have found a new printer on a storage but the setup cartridges were missing. Bought a new set of original HP cartridges but got all four ink lights blinking that is pointing to an error due to missing setup cartridges. Is there any way to override this error by following specific  button strokes as my printer does not have a screen. It would be a shame 😂 to scrap a perfectly fine printer because i am missing the setup cartridges!

@SpGr13, Welcome to HP Support Community!

 

The only option left is to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer. 

 

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

Dear TEJ1602

First of all thank you for your time and valuable advise on my issue.

The thing is that my printer is an hp officejet pro 6230 that does not have a small screen.

My printer has only some buttons available.

So if there is such procedure for my printer then it should have some key shortcuts i can follow.

 

Anyhow thank you for your assistance on my issue and if you can share some more information for my specific printer model i will be grateful.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
