Follow the steps below-

Preparing to print

Before printing, follow the steps below:

  1. Verify that the printer is turned on.

  2. Remove the out tray, and then remove all of the paper from the In tray.

  3. Slide the paper-width guide all the way to the left, and then pull out the paper-length guide.

  4. Verify that the paper is flat.

  5. Place the paper in the In tray with the side to be printed on facing down.

  6. Slide the paper guides firmly against the paper.

Printing

NOTE:

If your software program includes a photo printing feature, follow the instructions that are provided with the software program. Otherwise, follow these instructions.

  1. Click the Start button.

  2. Click Settings and select Control Panel.

  3. Click the Printers and Faxes icon.

  4. Right-click the HP Officejet Series icon and select Properties.

  5. On the General tab, click Printing Preferences to open the Printing Preferences dialog box.

  6. On the Printing Shortcuts tab, select Photo printing-borderless as the type of document, and then select the following options:

    • Print quality: Normal, Best, or Max dpi.

    • Paper size: Select the appropriate borderless photo paper size.

    • Paper type: Select the appropriate photo paper type.

    • Orientation: Portrait or Landscape.

  7. Set the following options as appropriate:

    • HP digital photography options

    • Advanced color settings

    • Color management

    • Grayscale quality

  8. Select any other desired print settings, and then click OK. If the image was printed on photo paper with a tear-off tab, remove the tab to make the document completely borderless.

Under Paper Type, you cannot choose plain paper and print borderless. Choose a photo or brochure paper instead.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
