I am trying to print an envelope 5.25 x 7.25 and every time I try it keeps getting stuck.  Is there a way to do it manually on the upper tray where you put the paper for scanning and copying?

Help!!!

Diana

Hi,

I try to understand your problem facing envelope stuck in the printer.

1. You have load the envelope in the bottom tray and center biased by the width adjuster. Refer to the video for envelope printing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWLtsrBK8w0

2. Or follow the recommend steps in the HP user guide to print envelope type. Refer to the link http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04204791

3.  Envelope get struck inside the feed roller, refer to user guide on "Clear Jam". Ensure any paper bit or torn paper piece is remove from the feeding path.

4.  Reinsert the duplexer into the printer until it snaps into place or else paper or envelope may get struck inside again

5. Try to print 1 piece of envelope at one time after clearing jam to verify does it help at all.

If above steps does not help to solve your problem, you may consider approach HP customer care support. https://support.hp.com/gb-en

Fyi, you can't print the envelope from the Top input tray that is meant for Scan/Copy purpose only
