I am trying to print envelopes from my HP Officejet Pro 8610 but am getting an error message

I am trying to print envelopes from my HP Officejet Pro 8610 but am getting the error message: paper detected does not match paper size selected. Make sure the paper size is correct to continue the job.  I have the paper tray set to envelopes and have them inserted upside down with the flap to the left.  I am printing from Word and have my envelope setting under mailings, envelope options, printing options to facedown, clockwise rotation pulling from the main tray. Envelope size is set to size 10 for standard legal size paper.

I'm at a loss.  Any suggestions?

Not sure what the last sentence regarding legal size paper means - everything else sounds "right".

For those reading:

Paper Size & Type can be set on the printer front panel or using EWS (on a supported printer)

Example - Retain / Modify (update) / Check Paper Size & Type - Tray and Paper Management

Reminder:  Exact Tray / Paper configuration is model dependent - your printer might be different from the example.

When all settings are correct,

If all else fails,

Consider treating the #10 envelope as if it is "Custom" - Select Custom and enter envelope size.

Example - Word > Mailings > Envelopes > #10 envelope
