Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

HP Deskjet 3755    I'm using genuine HP new ink cartridges #65               the same # I just took out of printer.  I running Windows 11                I have gently wiggled, turned and tried to snap the new cartridges in but they are refusing to go.  I don't want to break the printer, I love it!  How do you position the ink cartridges please?
