Good day,
I am so bummed. I made a mistake and purchase the wrong ink cartridge from Office Depot. I purchased a black HP number 60 ink when I should have purchased a black HP number 65 ink. I only realized my mistake AFTER I opened the cartridge package and attempted to use it in my printer. 😞
Office Depot doesn't accept returns on opened cartridges. Is there any help for someone like me in this situation? I sure hope this isn't a loss.
Thank you.
Greg

@Gregory001111 Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that you have an HP DeskJet 2680 Printer and have purchased the wrong ink cartridges for it. Due to this the printer displays a message saying "ink not compatible". Not to worry, I'll be glad to assist you with this case.
I recommend you to contact our HP phone support team to seek a replacement for the incorrect ink cartridges. The phone support team can be reached via the following method:
1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/
2) Click on "Continue as guest".
3) Enter the serial of your device. You can refer to this Link: hp.care/2bygf7l for help in locating your Serial Number.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.
5) Click on "Show Options".
6) Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
