I cancelled my subscription to Instant Ink and the request needed to go through before I could use the printer. Great. Done. Now it won't print at all. I've reset it several times. The diagnostic tool says everything is fine. It is able to print the information page - cleanly! - but will not print anything from the computer including the test page. The connection is good. Now the print job just sits in the queue "printing" but it never does.
Update: information still says that I need to pay my subscription in order to print. That it "can't use the installed cartridges" because it can't access my payment information. I cancelled the subscription. I received confirmation. So effectively, we cannot use these printers unless we are subscribed to the ink subscription???
I will never buy an HP printer again and this is some of the worst "technical service" I've ever seen. Outsourcing your help function to other users is pretty wild.

Hi,
Have you replaced the ink cartridges with new cartridges following the service cancellation? Instant Ink cartridges no longer work and need to be returned when the billing cycle ends:
Cancel your account
At the end of the billing cycle, you must remove Instant Ink cartridges and purchase Original HP Ink or Toner directly from the retailer of your choice to continue printing. Instant Ink cartridges only work in enrolled printers.
