I changed my color cartridge and error code C4EB8802 appeared and I can't use my printer now. I can turn it on but that is it. All of the lights flash continuously.

Hi @Trewhit,

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the "error code C4EB8802" issue

Let's start by performing a power reset on the printer.

Reset the product

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  1. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  2. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  3. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  4. Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  5. Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet

check if you are able to make copies from the printer. If no, then this is considered to be a hardware failure. I would recommend you contact HP for available service options. Please visit Contact HP and fill in the product details to get the tech support number.

If you are able to make copies. Let's try these steps.

Press Windows Key + R for Run Command – Type spool – Right on Printers folder – From the drop-down click on Properties – Click on Security Tab – Click on Edit under Group or user names – One by one give permissions for all – Click on Apply and then OK.

Next, launch Control panel -> Hardware and Sound ->Device and Printers -> Right on the Printer -> Printer Properties -> Security Tab -> under Group or user names – One by one give permissions for all – Click on Apply and then OK.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
