I have an HP MFP M227-M231 laser printer and last night began getting an error code that says to load tray 1, plain paper or press OK to use available media. (there is only one tray in the printer). since the paper is loaded, I push the OK button. It prints one page and then says "Unexpected paper size. Load oficio in tray 1. Press ok to continue." I hit ok to continue and it will prrint one page and then I get the same error message. I downloaded a new driver-- same issue.  Suggestions?

Check the following

 

That the paper size setting on the printer is set to letter

That the paper size  in the driver is set to letter

That the paper size for the document is letter 

 

Common issue is trying to print a PDF that was created in a different page size and the select source based on document size is turned on.
