@Wannalearn Welcome to HP Community!

click here to play the video (in English) on YouTube to get rid of the paper jam error, if the issue persists, or you aren't comfortable with the video, try the below steps:

Clear the jam from the back of the All-in-One (if any, although I suggest you consider looking at these specific places either way)

Follow these steps to clear a paper jam from inside the back of the product and from the two-sided printing accessory (duplexer).

   CAUTION:

Always remove jammed paper from the back of the product to avoid mechanical damage. Trying to clear a paper jam from the front of the product can damage the print mechanism.

  1. Press the Power button () to turn off the product.

  2. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the product.

  3. Remove the two-sided printing accessory (duplexer) from the back of the product.

Press in the buttons on each side of the duplexer, and then pull the duplexer away from the product.

    Figure : Remove the duplexer

  4. Gently pull any jammed paper out of the rollers in the back of the product.

       CAUTION:

If the paper tears, check the rollers and wheels for torn pieces of paper that might remain inside the product. Remove all the pieces of paper from the product to prevent more paper jams.

  5. Rotate the rollers upward to make sure that they move.

  6. Clear any paper jammed paper from inside the duplexer.

    1. With the wheels facing toward you, unlock the duplexer by pulling back the gray levers on each end of the duplexer.

    2. Open the duplexer lid.

    3. Remove any paper from inside the duplexer.

    4. Close the duplexer lid.

    5. Lock the duplexer by pushing the gray levers up and forward until they snap into place.
