I am experiencing a 55.0602 error on the display. Power cycling and system reset not clearing problem.

Actually the unplugging for a minute and then reconnecting allowed a reset to happen. 

 

I had not printed to the printer for many months, so something caused the hick-up. I didn’t realize that this was the only machine I did not have a surge protected back-up battery, so that will change.

UPS units and surge protector can cause issues with printers due to the fact that they restrict current flow. You are better off with a voltage regulator such as an APC 1200.
