My Envy 6020 printer wont print.

It has new ink.

There is a white light that showing were paper feeds out.

It sounds like it is printing but nothing on paper.

Have run cleaning cycle.

Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue with your HP Envy 6000 series printer.

 

Check Ink Cartridges:

  • Make sure the ink cartridges are properly installed.
  • Verify that the protective tape has been removed from the new cartridges.

Print a Test Page:

  • Try printing a test page directly from the printer’s control panel. This can help determine if the issue is with the printer or with the computer connection.

Clean the Printhead:

  • Even though you've run a cleaning cycle, you might want to try a deeper cleaning if available.
  • From the printer’s control panel, access the maintenance menu and select a deeper cleaning option if there is one.

Align the Printhead:

  • Align the printhead using the printer’s control panel to ensure it is correctly positioned.

Check Paper Settings:

  • Make sure the paper type and size settings match what is loaded in the printer.

Firmware Update:

  • Ensure your printer’s firmware is up to date. Check the HP support website for any available updates for your model.

Print Head Cleaning Solution:

  • If the print head is clogged, you may need to use a print head cleaning solution. Follow the instructions on the cleaning solution package for the best results.

Print Head Replacement:

  • If none of the above steps work, the print head may need to be replaced. Contact HP support for further assistance on this.

Reinstall Printer Drivers:

  • Sometimes, reinstalling the printer drivers can resolve printing issues. Download the latest drivers from the HP support website and install them.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for about a minute, then plug it back in and turn it on.
