HP replaced this unit, reneged on the agreement to have an on-site tech reconnect it to the office network and now I do not have the option to print color again! My computer runs Windows 11. Could someone help me with step-by-step directions of where to look and fix this issue.

Most common problem is allowing windows to auto-install the printer. That will usually result in Windows connecting via a WSD port (which will cause all sorts of communication issues) and installing an IPP driver which will not support advanced features like color and 11x17 printing. To verify, on your PC for to control panel, right click on "devices and printers" and select "open" from the drop down menu. Then right click on the icon for your printer and select "printer properties" from the drop down menu. Click on the advanced tab and it will show you which driver is installed. The preferred driver for this printer would be the HP Universal Printer Driver Version 7.3.
Easiest method is to install manually and make sure you use a standard TCP/IP port for the driver.

Thank you, we were getting frustrated not having full printing capabilities. The driver I found did not say "version 7.3". However, the driver description read "HP Color LaserJet MFP M776 PCL-6 (V4)" is this the same?

No that is not the same driver. It may be an HP driver or it may still be a Microsoft driver. Find the actual HP UPD drivers here: https://support.hp.com/ca-en/drivers/hp-universal-print-driver-series-for-windows/4157320
