HP ENVY Photo 7155
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have an HP Envy Photo 7155.  I had no problems printing yesterday.

This morning I attempted to print a page but got an error message saying Printer unable to print the document. I went into control panel and the print que says the page is printing. I canceled the job and retried. Same result. I turned off the printer and unplugged it. Restarted my computer and then powered the printer back up. Same result. I copied a document just to be sure the printer wasn’t jammed up or something and the printer did copy the document.

I went into Computer management / Services and Applications / Print Spooler and turned it off.

I then went to C:\windows>System32>Spoolers>printers      and deleted all files.

Turned the print spooler back on and tried to print a document. Same error message!

So I went into HP Smart and had it print a test page. It said the test was successful but no page printed. Went into the printer print que and saw that the status was “printing” but nothing prints.

What should I try next?

Give the doctor program a try, link.

If that fails try reinstalling the 7155 software.
