I have the HP 4630. I have the following error message that appeared yesterday:

Error code: OXCAEBB827F

Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

 

  • Restart the Printer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary glitches. Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a few minutes, and then plug it back in. Turn on the printer and check if the error message persists.
  • Check for Paper Jams: Ensure that there are no paper jams or obstructions inside the printer. Open the printer cover and check carefully for any bits of paper or debris that might be causing the error.
  • Update Firmware and Drivers: Visit the HP support website and check for any firmware updates or driver updates available for your printer model.   • Reset the Printer: Perform a factory reset on your printer to revert it to its default settings. Refer to the printer's user manual or documentation for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.

To resolve the error, remove the unknown device from the Printers list in Device Manager.

Click Printers.

Right-click Unknown device, then select Uninstall to remove it.

Click Retry in the Windows Update window to install the updates.
