@Scott342, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Error Code 75 on HP LaserJet M234sdwe!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Error 75 typically indicates a persistent paper jam or a related error with your HP LaserJet M234sdwe printer. Here's a systematic approach to try and resolve the issue:

Turn Off and Unplug the Printer:

  • Turn off your printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for about 30 seconds before plugging it back in. This can help reset the printer's internal memory and clear any temporary faults.

Check All Paper Paths:

  • Carefully inspect and clear any paper jams from all accessible areas including the input tray, output bin, and the duplexer (if your model has one).
  • Remove the toner cartridge and check for jammed paper inside the toner cartridge chamber.

Install Paper Properly:

  • Make sure that the paper is loaded correctly in the tray and that it is not wrinkled or folded. The paper guides should be snug against the edges of the paper stack.

Inspect Rollers:

  • Look over the rollers inside the printer for any small bits of paper or debris. Clean them gently with a lint-free cloth and distilled water, if necessary.

Reset the Printer:

  • Once everything is inspected and cleared, turn the printer back on. Perform a printer reset through the settings menu or by unplugging it, as mentioned above.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!

Hi,

Thanks for your reply and detailed steps but I have tried them all 3 times and I am still receiving the 75 error code. Is there anything else you can suggest besides throwing this one out the window and purchasing a new one. Thanks.

Scott
