Thank you for responding but I had called the Hp support and my printer/computer needed a drive wich was missing due to an update so your support team help by installing a new drive printer is working great now. I also extended my warranty so if I need some parts or tech help my printer will be covered what a great team at HP! I will buy another Hp product again Thank you Tech support whether online or by phone, thanks, Darin Davis.

Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP Officejet 3830 printer. I understand that your printer does not respond when you try to print and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting.
However, I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution,
- How is the printer connected to computer, USB or wireless?
- Which operating system is installed on the computer?
Meanwhile:
Perform hard reset on the printer.
Remove the power cable from the printer when it is turned on.
Remove all other cables you have connected any.
Press and hold the printer power button for 60secs.
Reply with the result of the above-mentioned steps, for further assistance.
Let me know how it works.
Cheers.
