Hi @Ann0825,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing printing errors with your HP DeskJet Plus 4155 All-In-One Printer. Printing errors can be caused by a variety of issues, and troubleshooting them often involves several steps. Here are some general troubleshooting steps you can follow to try to resolve the issue.

  • Check for Paper Jams: Make sure there are no paper jams or obstructions in the paper path. Even a small piece of torn paper can cause printing problems.
  • Check Ink or Toner Levels: Ensure that you have enough ink or toner in your cartridges. Low ink levels can result in poor print quality or errors.
  • Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a minute before plugging it back in and turning it on again. This can sometimes clear temporary issues.
  • Update Printer Drivers: Make sure you have the latest printer drivers installed on your computer. You can usually download them from the HP website.
  • Check Printer Connection: Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your computer or network. If it's a wireless printer, check your Wi-Fi connection.
  • Clear Print Queue: Sometimes, print jobs can get stuck in the print queue. Clear the print queue on your computer and try printing again.
  • Use HP Print and Scan Doctor: HP provides a free tool called "HP Print and Scan Doctor" that can diagnose and resolve printing issues. You can download it from the HP website.
  • Check for Firmware Updates: Occasionally, printer firmware updates can resolve printing problems. Check the HP website for any available updates for your printer.
  • Check for Error Messages: Pay attention to any error messages or error codes that the printer displays. These can often provide clues about what's causing the issue.
  • Inspect Printer Settings: Check the printer settings on your computer to ensure they are configured correctly. Make sure you have selected the correct printer and that the print settings are appropriate for your document.
  • Try a Test Page: Print a test page from the printer's control panel. This can help determine if the issue is specific to your computer or the printer itself.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
