HP Deskjet 2620
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi I am working on my friends printer which I asked her to bring to me so I can attach it to my pc to troubleshoot the problem that she said she was experiencing. She said that after a paper jam it just wouldn't work at all.

Now that I have it attached to my win 10 PC, I can see that all the lights (info light, paper light, colour ink light and power lights) are flashing in unison.
I've tried the usual ... hold the power button for 2 secs then hold the cancel(x) button for 2 secs then let them go 2 secs later but nothing happened other than the lights went off then all returned to their flashing state.
I think I would need the method to fully reset the device to its factory settings unless anyone else here has a better solution - I'm all ears...
ps.. theres no paper in the printer at all - i've checked 🙂
