Hi, I have a HP Envy 4520 Printer. I was able to connect it to my wifi at home. I also signed up for the cartridge service. But, now I'm perplexed....I cant change the email address assigned to this printer. The printer is used, and I didnt realize there would be an email address already assigned to the printer. I didnt realize how complicated this printer is. Is there any way to assign my email to this printer if I do not have the password of the old email address? I tried to "reset to factory settings" but that did not delete the old email address. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!!
Anna

Ouch, that sounds complex.
Hmmm, I am not sure what the exact answer is but it does seem like you're in the right thinking mode.
Well, you probably don't have contact with the previous owner so changing this through HP Connected Services is probably not an option.
(however I will share the video just in case http://supportvideos.ext.hp.com/detail/video/3450425958001/how-to-change-your-printer-email-address-...
And I am sure you looked at this already, I was thinking, perhaps some reverse engineering could help. Other than that, I have nothing more and hopefully someone with a little more knowledge on this can help.

THank you for your video clips. I did watch those as I was trying to reset the printer. But, you're right, with out the old password, I am stuck. Hopefully someone out there has some other ideas. Thanks again for chiming in, R7s7i7!!!
