Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

With my new color (#62) cartridge for a 4 or 5 year old officejet 5740 printer the "cyan" color will not print.  Other colors do fine.  I've run the "clean cartridge" through level 3 -- no change.  Print Quality Diagnostic shows everything is fine except the cyan block is empty.  Do I have a problem with the printer or do I have a faulty cartridge.  The cartridge is new from H-P.

Hello -- thank you for your support.  I ordered a new cartridge (economy size) and put that it and everything works fine.  Now I've got an almost new color cartridge  (XL size) that's out of cyan and has plenty of the other colors.  Do you think HP will replace it?

I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the ink replacement.
