On my earler HP printer there was an option of making a contact sheet. now that seems to no longer exisit. Is it the printer? Nothing else has changed? I would really like to have that option!

Welcome to the HP Forums, this is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that you are unable to print contact sheet. I would like to help you resolve this issue.
However, I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution,
- Which software are you using to print?
- Are you getting any error message while printing?
- Did you do ant hardware or software changes?
Meanwhile:
Perform a power reset
- Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 30 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn on the printer.
Reply with the result of the above-mentioned steps, for further assistance.
Cheers.

I might not have made my problem clear..the problem is not the printing part it is not having the option of making a contact sheet. On my earlier HP printer, when printing photos I could highlight my photos and then scroll down the possibilities on the right (In blue) click contact sheet, print and out they would come! There are options on this new printer..but contact sheet is not one of them..or at least I can't find it! Thank you so much for helping.

Thanks for the reply.
I appreciate your time and effort.
I understand the issue better now.
Follow the below steps to print contact sheets:
- Open the Pictures library by clicking the Start button and then clicking Pictures. Navigate to the place where the pictures are that you want to print and open the folder.
- Click the pictures you want to print as thumbnails. (To select more than one, hold down the Ctrl key as you click, or you can select a range of photos by shift-clicking.)
- On the toolbar, click Print.
- In the Print Pictures dialog box, select the printer, paper size and type, and the number of copies you want to print, and then click Contact sheet in the list of print sizes. You can also print to a PDF file.
- Click Print to start printing.
Let me know if helps.
Cheers.
