Images in a Word document are printing upside down and backwards but the text is normal. The same document as a PDF prints fine. The Word document printed on other printers is fine. I believe the customer is using the latest PCL6 driver from the printer's download page. Has anyone ever seen anything like this before?

I can try reinstalling the printer/drivers, just wanted to see if there was a known fix first.

Thanks!

HI TheWolf, I have the same problem. Did you find the solution?

Thank you

I've updated the printer firmware and it didn't fix the issue. I will be back on site for the customer tomorrow and try to reinstall the drivers. I'll update the thread after that.

Thank you for the info.

From what I can see the problem is that HP did not make UPD fully compatibile with older printers. I am using P2055dn.

I have been having issues with installing and using the printer ever since I moved to Win 8.1.

I am thinking of replacing the printer with new one.

I'll be waiting for your update in case you have any luck.

Thanks

I reinstalled the printer using the P3010 Series PCL6 driver (From the Windows printer driver list) and it resolved the issue. The PCL5 and PCL6 drivers I downloaded from HP's recommended driver list did not work for this printer.

TheW0lf, thank you for sharing your solution.

It is good to know that.

For the moment I have printer running by reversing to PCL5 from HP.
