HP LaserJet M110w Printer

My question is obsolete! I found the problem and solved it. I had not removed all items from the toner cartridge!!!

I installed my newly bought HP Laserjet M110. Everything is correctly set up. However, the printer "prints" only blank pages. I let the HP product scan run over the printer, but it did not detect eny problems.

Hi @PatWilliams,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP LaserJet M110 is printing blank pages despite being correctly set up, there are several potential reasons for this issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow.

Check Toner Cartridge:

  • Ensure that the toner cartridge is properly installed. Sometimes, a loose or improperly installed toner cartridge can cause printing issues.
  • Check if the toner cartridge is empty. If it is, replace it with a new one.

Remove Protective Tape:

  • Ensure that you have removed any protective tapes or covers from the toner cartridge. These tapes are often placed to protect the cartridge during shipping and may obstruct the printing process if not removed.

Paper Quality and Loading:

  • Make sure you are using high-quality, compatible paper.
  • Check that the paper is loaded correctly in the paper tray. Improper paper loading can result in blank pages.

Print a Test Page:

  • Print a test page from the printer itself. Most printers have a self-test or configuration page option that can be printed directly from the control panel. This helps determine if the issue is with the printer or the computer.

Printer Drivers:

  • Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers installed on your computer. Visit the HP website to download and install the latest drivers for your specific printer model.

Print from Another Application:

  • Try printing from a different application or program. This can help determine if the issue is specific to one application or a system-wide problem.

Check Print Settings:

  • Verify the print settings on your computer. Make sure the correct printer is selected and that the settings match your requirements.

Check for Firmware Updates:

  • Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware updates installed. You can check for firmware updates on the HP support website.

Inspect Drum Unit:

  • If your printer has a separate drum unit, inspect it for any issues. Clean the drum if necessary, and replace it if it's damaged.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
