I recently got out my printer, installed some fresh ink cartridges, cleaned the print heads, did an alignment, printed one document and then got the error "Incompatible Printhead - The Printhead installed is not intended for use in this printer, or is damaged. Refer to Printer Documentation." This was all in the space of about an hour!
Obviously there is actually no issue with the printhead because I had just printed like 8 pages! It says to consult the documentation but there is no info in there. I have updated the firmware (now CHL1FN1146AR) and have been looking everywhere but can't find any information. I can't do a factory reset because that requires accessing the menu but as soon as the error comes up there is no getting around it. Now I can't even use it to scan documents because it just sits there with the error.
I'd love any help I can get. I think the first place to start is with a factory reset but I can't do that without accessing the menu. Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated!
