Information light is blinking amber, red X is on, and wifi is lit blue.
Originally, it gave the error that it was not connected to the internet, but it was connected to WiFi and I could access it from the windows computer. After doing a full power-down reset of the printer (power off, unplug for 2 minutes, press power button for 30 seconds, then plug back in) it is now connected to the internet, but the error has changed to "Cartridge or account issue." HP Smart reports that the cartridges are fine. I reset them. This error did not go away. I logged onto my account. The error did not go away.
I've run out of ideas. How do I get this fixed?

I’ll answer my question in two words. Instant Ink. My subscription ended and, apparently, without a subscription, Instant Ink cartridges will not print. I don’t do enough printing to make it worth the bother. The several unused cartridges that I have are now junk. I would have expected that I would still be able to use up my Instant Ink cartridges after the subscription ended but this is apparently not the case. Oh well. Off to Staples
