Have an ENVY 6230 printer.....recently purchased.Have been sent my first two ink cartridges and replaced them as per instructions and both have clicked into place... I have followed all the advice on the support pages but it still appears 'cartridge problems' what can I try next?

The troubleshooting steps in the document here may help resolve cartridge errors on your Envy Photo 6200 series printer. If you have already cleaned the cartridge and printer contacts as shown in the document above without success I would suggest the following: remove the black cartridge and send a print job with only the color cartridge installed. Does this print properly? If not, replace the black cartridge and remove the color cartridge and try printing. If the printer prints properly with only one of the cartridges installed the other cartridge is defective and will need replacement.
Are you signed up for Instant Ink? If so, the document here has information on contacting HP to get replacement Instant Ink cartridges. Log into the HP Instant Ink site, the phone number (or chat option for some countries) will be listed in the lower part of the opening screen.
