HP officejet pro 8600 plus

I changed the ink cartridges and my printer ceased to work instead giving me ink system failure error message. I have completed all of the trouble shooting steps and it still continues with the error message. This was the first time the color cartridges were changed. I cannot seem to fix the problem. Can anyone offer suggestions?

If you have followed all the troubleshooting steps mentioned in this link, then it could be a possible hardware issue with the print head assembly or with the printer itself.

I would suggest you contact our HP Support team for repair/replacement/upgrade options.
