Is the black ink for my printer pigment based and the colors dye based?

  • What is the exact model name of your printer?
  • What are the cartridge numbers used in the printer?

If you are using the HP Deskjet F340 All-in-One Printer, the black ink cartridge is pigment based and the color ink cartridge is dye-based.

I have 3 different cartridges Hp33, 56,564 do they all use the same black pigment ink ?

Yes, The HP 56, HP 564 and the HP 33 ink cartridges are all pigment based.
