Why HP does not have instant ink plan for wide format printers?

Because wide format printer customers print more than usual and printing on a wide format document will consume inks more than normal due to the size of the print jobs. HP wont make any revenue if it is gonna be available for wide format printers

In that case, you can add a new rates' plan which would be little higher than the existing one and I believe you will be able to make money while providing a much needed service from HP.

That's a good idea, i will do my best to include that to our suggestion box and submit it to our management so they would hear your voice as a customer.

I too would like an instant ink option for wide format printers. I was about to purchase the 7740 until I noticed it doesn't have this feature.

Wide format inkjet printers could use a 300 sheet per month option of $20.00 for instant ink. Or even $25. Since at least 20% of all print will be less than full size HP should come out great. Maybe do a trial of two $10 pops per month for 100 users for 6 months to see how it comes out. Oppurtunity to make money is sailing away.
