I have Deskjet 2721e and the cartridges were registered in Instant ink and everything was working well, till i decided to cancel the subscription by Instant ink then the cartridges are now defected and i cannot use the printer anymore, i tried to register again but it shows the error massage : the printer is not enrolled in instant ink.

I cannot register again with my ID-printer.

Has anyone any idea how to fix this problem? Hiw can i register again in instant ink!?

If you canceled your Instant Ink subscription and now your HP Deskjet 2721e is showing cartridge errors or won't register with Instant Ink, you may encounter some issues. Here are steps to help you resolve the problem.

 

Reinstall the Cartridges: Try removing the Instant Ink cartridges from your printer and reinserting them. Make sure they are correctly seated. Sometimes, this simple step can resolve cartridge errors.

Ensure the Cartridges are Genuine: Ensure that the cartridges you're using are genuine HP Instant Ink cartridges. Using third-party or counterfeit cartridges may cause issues.

 

Reset the Printer: You can perform a factory reset on your HP Deskjet 2721e to clear any previous settings that may be causing the registration issue. To do this, follow these steps.

  • Turn on the printer.
  • Wait until the printer is idle and silent.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
  • Wait for about a minute, and then reconnect the power cord.
  • Turn on the printer and check if it allows you to register with Instant Ink.

 

Reinstall the HP Smart App: If you were using the HP Smart app to manage your printer and Instant Ink subscription, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app on your device. This can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.

Re-enroll in Instant Ink: If none of the above steps work, you might need to contact HP Instant Ink customer support to re-enroll your printer in the program. They can guide you through the process and re-establish the connection between your printer and your Instant Ink account.

Verify Your Printer's Eligibility: Ensure that your HP Deskjet 2721e is eligible for the Instant Ink program. Some older printer models may not be supported.

 

Remember that HP Instant Ink relies on an active internet connection, and interruptions in your subscription or connectivity issues can cause registration problems.
