I have just been charged £13..0 for additional 25 pages printed. I can't see when this happened or what day occurred does not say on my printing history it just has been added to the invoice for - previous printing period and again can not see any date this happened. I do not print large amounts and definitely did not print 25 sheets in one go. Something is not correct and to charge £13 for 25 pages is absolutely ridiculous money I could have bought an ink cartridge for that cost!! I can't find out how to contact HP that is not via a robot - please if anyone can help me, how do i contest this.

Hello,
It's incredibly frustrating when you're charged for something you don't recognize, especially printing charges that seem excessive. Here's a breakdown of how to contest this HP printing charge and find a way to contact them directly:
1. Gather Your Information:
Your HP Account Details: Have your account information ready, including your email address, HP Instant Ink account details (if applicable), and printer serial number.
Invoice Details: Note the invoice number, date, and the specific charge of £13 for 25 pages.
Printing History (What You Can See): Even if it's limited, document what you do see in your printing history. Take screenshots if possible.
Your Printing Habits: Make a note of your typical printing volume. This will help you argue that 25 pages in one go is unusual.
2. Understanding HP Instant Ink (If Applicable):
If you are using HP Instant Ink, be aware that it charges based on pages printed.
1 If your printer is connected to the internet, HP knows how many pages you print.

If you are not using instant ink, and you are using a regular printer, then they should not be charging you for pages printed.
3. Contacting HP Directly (Bypassing the Robot):
HP Support Website:
Go to the official HP support website for your region (e.g., support.hp.com).
Look for "Contact Support" or "Contact Us."
Try different support options:
Live Chat: This is often the quickest way to get a response. Look for a "Chat Now" or similar button.
Phone Support: Search for HP's customer support phone number for your region. Be prepared for potential wait times.
Social Media: Some companies offer customer support through social media platforms like Twitter (X) or Facebook. You can try sending a direct message or posting a public inquiry.
Tips for Bypassing Automated Systems:
When calling, try saying phrases like "speak to a representative" or "customer service."
If you're using a phone menu, repeatedly press "0" or the "pound" (#) key, which sometimes triggers a transfer to a human operator.
When using chat bots, type phrases such as "I need to speak to a person".
HP Instant Ink Support: If you're an Instant Ink subscriber, there's often a dedicated support line or chat option.
4. Contesting the Charge:
Be Clear and Concise: Explain the situation calmly and clearly. State that you were charged £13 for 25 pages, which you believe is incorrect.
Request Detailed Printing History: Ask for a detailed breakdown of the printing activity that led to the charge, including dates and times.
Provide Evidence: Mention your typical printing habits and any evidence you have that contradicts the charge.
Demand a Refund or Credit: Clearly state that you want the charge reversed or a credit applied to your account.
Escalate if Necessary: If the initial support representative is unhelpful, ask to speak to a supervisor or manager.
